About Prestwich Marauders FC

Prestwich Marauders FC was formed in 1972 to provide football for young people in Prestwich and Whitefield.

Today the Marauders has over 320 members, both boys and girls aged between five and 16, as well as two open age adult teams.

We play across three sites in the area - St Mary’s Park, Sandgate Fields (behind our partners Prestwich Heys) and Pinfold Field.

We field 26 teams in a number of league competitions and enter teams in the local county cups.

PMFC is officially linked with Prestwich Heys AFC of the North West Counties Football League.

We have around 30 FA Level One qualified football coaches.

Importantly, as much as we want playing success, enjoyment is the biggest single pre-requisite at this club.

Each season, as additional coaches are taken on, they immediately get enrolled on accredited coaching courses at either Lancashire or Manchester FA, as well as being DBS checked to ensure your child’s safeguarding is looked after.

We are proud to have received the Charter Standard Development Club Award (Club Affiliation Number: X-LAN5482).
