Members' news

We have finally launched our website payment system for membership fees for the 2024-25 season.

Parents can now visit our membership payment page and select the relevant plan for them.

Parents can choose to pay in one 'full payment', or spread it out over 'instalments' of nine consecutive months.

This year fees are different depending on the type of league teams have entered. Those in 'central venue' leagues will pay slightly higher fees than those in 'grass pitch' leagues, due to entry fees costing the club more for central venue leagues. There is still an option for 'training only'.

After arriving on the relevant membership package page for you, press 'add member'.

You will then be prompted to choose from 'central venue', 'grass pitches' or 'training only'.

Central venue teams are:
  • Rockets
  • Sharks
  • Tornados
  • Jaguars
  • Panthers
  • Wolves
  • Devils
  • Lions
  • Raptors
  • Dragons
  • Warriors

All other teams are 'grass pitches'

You will then be prompted to enter necessary information and abide by the club's code of conduct, before finally inputting your payment method. We hope it is largely self explanatory.

To pay for siblings, once you have selected 'central venues', 'grass pitches' or 'training only' and the child's name etc, you can then click 'add member' to add the next child and so on. The discount is automatically added.

Fees explained

We apologise for delivering the fees news later than usual, but the club has faced a number of serious financial challenges, which we will explain.

Prices across the board for everything have risen in the past year, including the hire of venues for winter training and costs to enter astro turf leagues that host matches in central venues, among other things as mundane as paint to line pitches.

Furthermore, we have been hit with a lot of costs for our own leased facilities due to the inclement weather over the winter, damage to the fields we play on and increasing reductions in the funding the council receives for the upkeep of leisure venues. This impacts all teams - as all use our grass pitches from May to September and ALL teams will rely on grass pitches for matches as they get older.

Taking all this into account we have managed to keep fees as low as possible, to attempt to limit the financial burden on parents who we understand have suffered from a nation-wide cost of living crisis.

Managers should now be contacting parents/players with news of how the fees will work and they can also provide a letter from the club explaining the decisions and reasoning.

We appreciate the fees have slightly increased. We have done our best to keep these increases to a minimum as we battle to maintain the club’s existence and we hope people understand the situation we are in as we strive to keep the club alive and to continue providing football for kids in our area.

Thank you for your continued and valued support.

We are often asked where the money from fees goes, so we hope this graphic helps illustrate how the club spent the income from last season:
