Our club thrives because of the passion and support of our community. Local organisations play an essential role in this, and the support they give the club helps us deliver sport provision for hundreds of kids in our area.
As part of the benefits of sponsoring a team, we are shining a light on the amazing people that make such a vital contribution to PMFC through their businesses and organisations.
Sponsorship provides vital resources for teams, like new kits and better facilities, while fostering confidence and joy in young players. For businesses, it’s a chance to connect with the community, build goodwill, and strengthen local ties.
Sponsorship is more than a donation; it’s an investment in the next generation and a stronger, more connected Prestwich and surrounding areas. Find out more about sponsoring a team, or the club as a whole.

Tell us about you and your business
We are a large martial arts club in Prestwich. We’ve been going since 2016 and have our own dedicated centre on George Street. We’re part of a much larger group of clubs across the north west, with almost 2,000 students in total.
Are you football fans? Who do you support?
I’ve been a Liverpool supporter for many years - through the good years, the bad times and the ugly too. My uncle was a Toffee and took me to a Derby in the early 80s - Souness smashed the winner in from the edge of the box and I was hooked (much to my uncle’s disgust).
Why did you choose to sponsor the Diamonds?
We like to be part of the community - be that providing bespoke classes for Jewish teens, our female only classes, sponsoring Prestwich Carnival a few years ago and much, much more. When the mum of one of our senior students approached me with the idea, it fitted with our ethos so I couldn’t say no.
What do you hope for the team?
With my martial art students, I just want them to do their best and fulfil their potential. That’s exactly what I want for the team too. Have fun, do your best and hopefully the rewards will follow.
What are your three favourite things about our area?
I like Prestwich’s community spirit (my first house was over by Heaton Park tram stop). I also love the thriving business community, in particular the local shops and we do our best to buy local and support as many as we can. Finally, I really like the people - a huge proportion of my students are from Prestwich - it’s a hugely diverse community and that brings with it some massive benefits for all.
