Volunteers (can be managers or coaches, but can be anyone willing to help the club) are responsible for maintaining our pitches at our three sites:
St Mary's Park: 1 x nine-aside, 1 x seven-aside, 1 x five-aside, 4 x 3v3.
Sandgate Road Playing Fields: 2 x nine-aside, 1 x seven-aside
Sparks Field: 1 x junior 11-aside
All the containers at the sites have:
Goal posts for the relevant formats
Goal nets
Corner flags
Line marking equipment
Respect banners (for spectators to stand behind)
Respect boards (message asking for good behaviour)
Lining pitches
Line marking equipment, including paint machines, are kept in the containers on each site.
Paint is initially stored at Sparks Field, when delivered, and volunteers can collect what they need from there to transport to each other site. Water will need to be taken to each site in the large plastic bottles provided, and should always be replaced when used.
