Sharks under-sevens boys are through to the MYSL cup final after victory against Mountfield Rovers Neri.

Coach Dan said: "Despite going behind three times, the lads showed excellent resilience to power through.

"The goals were scored by Sam, Freddie, Thomas and Luke.

"Luke was dynamic in attack, utilising the turning skills he has worked hard on in training. 

"Freddie ran up and down non-stop and battled tremendously. Sam was a potent threat in attack and solid in goal. 

"Thomas patrolled the right and took his two goals well. Joey was solid on the left and was unlucky not to score. 

"Vinny played outstandingly in goal and just as good at the back, taking no nonsense as always.

"The lads deserve their chance for Christmas glory due to their constant hard work in training. We had a guest coach from elsewhere in the club do a session in the week, which freshened things up as well."

The lads will play Swinton Titans in the final at Manchester City Academy complex on Saturday 22 December.
