Marauders' under-16 members can get in free to watch our partners Prestwich Heys AFC's home games, including their pivotal clash against local rivals Ramsbottom on Saturday.

Heys are battling to stay in the North West Counties Football League Premier Division, while opponents Rammy seek to claim a promotion spot, so it is sure to be an intriguing encounter at Adie Moran Park.

Heys go into the game on the back of a great win at Colne last weekend. Read the report. And after our recent partnership agreement, we are keen to show our support for each other in all ways possible, meaning Marauders players and volunteers are always welcome down at Hey's Sandgate Road ground to cheer them on.

The match kicks off at 3pm, with under-16s getting free admission. Adults pay just £7, with over-65s and students (with valid ID) getting in for a concessionary £4. Match programmes cost £2 and merchandise like hats and scarves are also on sale.

There is a licensed bar in the clubhouse (seating around 60 people) serving hot and cold drinks, including a range of alcoholic options, and snacks including crisps and chocolate.

Cash and card payments are accepted at the turnstiles and in the clubhouse.

The full address for the ground is: Adie Moran Park, Sandgate Road, Whitefield, M45 6NT and parking onsite is free.

Heys have asked us to let people know the following ground regulations:

  • No pyrotechnics (flares, fireworks, smoke bombs etc)
  • It is illegal to enter the playing area (pitch)
  • No dogs are allowed, except disability support animals
  • No other ball games (other than what is happening on the pitch) are permitted
