Despite having leukaemia, Mack, with dad Paul and others from Marauders, put on a night of entertainment to raise money for the organisation that has helped their family cope with the heartbreaking situation.
All That Malarkey took place at the Carlton Club in Prestwich, with a poet, comedian and band delivering a great show, while people contributed to a raffle and auction that included signed items from Manchester United legends Eric Cantona, Ole Gunnar Solskjær and Bobby Charlton.
Paul, a coach with Wolves, said: "What a night it was. Everyone turned out full of love and support and pockets full of cash for a great cause that has helped our family and countless others in similar situations.
"The amount raised was incredible. The Cantona raffle alone raised more than £700 and then a last minute auction for a signed Ole Gunnar Solskjær shirt hit the £1,000 mark. We have been blown away by it. Mack loved being able to join in by drawing the raffle tickets and he is overwhelmed by the support we received.
"Thanks so much to all who helped on the night, and also those who couldn't be there but donated online."
Mack's fundraising page is still open, if you wish to contribute.
