Our newly formed under-eights made their debut at the weekend.

The boys are the first side to come out of our revamped development set-up 'Mini Marauders' and they loved every minute of their five-aside game on St Mary's Park.

Hurricanes girls under-nines provided a squad to test the lads and both teams were a credit to the club as they played an end-to-end encounter in a great spirit.

Goals were scored by Leo, Rebble, Rocco and Patryk, with Alfie, Raife and James all playing really well as the youngsters put their training into action with some nice passing and disciplined defending.

It is hoped parents will now take the team forward so they can join a league and become the latest fully fledged Marauders side on the roster.
