Sadly the lads lost 1-4, but they have had a cracking first season at 11-aside, experiencing games played home and away for the first time.
Coach Paul said: “The heat seemed to play a part, as we couldn't find the right gear.
“First half saw us concede two goals that shouldn't have been before Lucas got space just outside their box and found the bottom left corner to halve the deficit.
“Second half, we played better, getting the ball forward and getting some good crosses in, but everyone was half a yard away from finding its mark.
“Crompton bagged a third shortly followed by a stunning fourth - a free kick from 30 yards which bounced over the line off the crossbar. Despite a couple of close calls, we couldn’t find a response.
“Player of the game was Bobby for a tireless performance chasing everything.
“Farewell to Cameron who played his final game for us, after over three years with Raptors and consistently excellent football, both between the posts and more recently outfield.”
