It was wonderful to see more than 400 players, parents, coaches and guests descend on Icons, Prestwich, for our official End of Season event.

Each team had their own slot, where they got their participation trophies and special awards voted for by players, parents or coaches.

Committee members delivered some important club updates and thank-you gifts for the coaches, while we held a raffle with some fantastic prizes donated by local businesses and kind-hearted individuals. 

The kids who help our coaches deliver the club's development sessions also received a thank-you.

Chairman Chris received a framed retro Marauders shirt in gratitude for his decades of volunteering and keeping PMFC going, while many people stayed to socialise with other members, adding to a real feel of community for our club, as we look forward to a bright future.

Thanks to Icons staff, who were superb all day, Jemma of Dream Big Balloons for sorting the decorations, Lewis for the official pictures, businesses and individuals who donated raffle prizes, all the volunteers who helped put the event on and most of all the kids and families, who behaved impeccably throughout.
