Liz Norris, the first boxing cutswoman in a British and Commonwealth title fight, is going to Africa to help coach homeless kids in conjunction with charity Glad's House Kenya.

A former amateur boxer, Liz has helped ex-Marauders players with their training and coaches at gyms in the area, including Radcliffe Elite ABC.

The kids in Kenya often have next to no clothing, so if anyone has any sports gear their children don't need anymore it would be greatly appreciated.

Liz said: "I am humbled to have been invited to go to Kenya in April 2026 as part of a group of professional boxing licence holders, football coaches and other professionals, to do a 10-day charitable expedition.

"We are hoping to collect sports clothing and shoes, and boxing gloves that are new, or in pre-loved good condition. We will work with Glad's House Kenya supporting homeless street children and young adults.

"As well as boxing and football, we will be delivering an empowering women programme and young male positive futures project. Each one of us are volunteers and self funding our trip."

If anyone has unwanted items that may help Liz and the team with their coaching, you can either drop it off at Radcliffe Elite ABC, Victoria Works, Sion St, Radcliffe, M26 3SB, or contact Liz through her Instagram account.
